The Slab - December 2008 Job of the Month
Mass is where it's at when you are doing outside countertops and concrete delivers. We replaced the stone countertops with concrete using a stone edge mold to create a similar look with no seams and smooth to the touch; the stone countertops were so textured that glasses tipped over. The bar top was 2" thick while the bottom one was 4". We finished it off with an acid stain and a protective coat of sealer.
