Shadows in the Floor - January 2008 Job of the Month

The great thing about acid staining is that it works so well with most furnishings. In this home we applied a microfinish overlay on a floor that previously had tile on it then misted a light brown acid stain on it. If you look closely, you may spot a shadow of the tile pattern coming through the floor. This doesn't normally happen, but the homeowner loved it so much we left it alone. It's a unique one-of-a-kind look.
