Stain Away! - October 2008 Job of the Month

Direct acid staining is particularly suitable for new construction. With the general contractor's help, these floors were kept in almost pristine shape during construction; you could almost eat off them. They took stain beautifully and all the floor's personality comes through. An extra plus for the homeowners was that it was much cheaper than other flooring options since there was minimal prep needed.
