Grill Master � Acid Stained Concrete Countertops - December 2009 Job of the Month
We get a lot of requests for concrete countertops for both interiors and exteriors and when you combine that with an acid stain as was the case in this Frisco, Tx project, it can create a beautiful effect. This was a cast in place project, we built the mold right over the stone base, poured the countertop and then applied a two color acid stain followed by a couple of coats of concrete sealer. Concrete is an ideal match for grills because it doesn't have the formal look of granite that looks a little out of place outside. Bring on the heat!
