We got to spread our wings a little with this one. This homeowner's floor was in bad shape and we agreed the microfinish overlay was the best solution, but at the same time he wanted something a little different. He gave us an idea and we ran with it, scoring and staining a novel design into the floor. We made the design flow from the living room to the dining room, linking both of them through the doorway.
