Microfinish Acid Stain

A microfinish is a special polymer enhanced, cement based material applied to your existing concrete floor that creates a smooth surface ready for acid staining. Microfinish overlays have a few advantages over direct acid staining because we can tint the material a wide range of colors is available and we can easily fix common floor problems by simply covering them up with the overlay such as tack strip holes, cracks, rough concrete, glue and other stains.

Microfinish acid stain overlays are usually priced in the $4 - $6 per ft² range.Larger projects have a lower cost per square foot than smaller projects. We have a $1,400 minimum for our work which corresponds to around 230 ft² for interior floors. We can do smaller areas; however the minimum price of $1,400 will apply.
