Scoring

Scoring is the process of cutting a small groove on the surface of the concrete to create a desired pattern such as squares or diamonds. Normally these are 24" x 24" or larger and require a border around the room to be scored. We also do custom patterns such as the Star of Texas, the North Star, and logos. Scoring can beautifully accentuate a room by drawing the eye from one pattern to the other.

Scoring floors generally runs around $1 per ft² and we have a $500 minimum for our work. This is for square or diamond patterns typically ranging from 24" to 48". Logos, stars or other custom work is priced on a case-by-case basis. This pricing is for residential projects - for commercial projects, please give us a call for a free estimate.
