Just kidding. Actually this Southlake, TX, project was the result of a contractor leaving a poor finish on the pool deck. The surface was pockmarked and uneven, water was pooling (no pun intended) in spots, and there were no control joints! We had to grind down all the pockmarked spots, level the low ones, skim on an overlay, score in control joints, and then seal it. What a difference!
