Decorative Concrete Videos

Hi, and welcome to our decorative concrete videos page. Here you will find videos on many of the different types of services we offer. Our purpose is to provide you with detailed information about our processes to help you in the decision making process. We are always available whether by phone or email if you have any additional questions. Enjoy!

Concrete Countertops/Tabletops

An excellent alternative to such common countertop materials as marble, granite or Corian, especially here in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex; concrete countertops and tabletops offer unique visual appeal, strength, wide selection of colors, and resistance to wear and tear. We offer precast (made in our shop) and cast in place (made on site) countertops and tabletops. We even have the option of applying a concrete resurfacing material (overlay) on top of your existing countertops or tabletops to eliminate tearing them out.

Acid/Dye Staining

For those wishing a distinct look to their floors, a direct acid stain is an excellent option. This type of staining is a reactive process; the acid and metallic salts in the stain react with the concrete, creating unique color schemes. We also have dye staining available which has a wider palette of available colors.

Microfinish Concrete Resurfacing and Stain

Microfinish concrete overlays are a special polymer-enhanced, cement-based material applied over your existing concrete floor that creates a new, smooth surface ready for acid or water staining. These concrete overlays have a great advantage over a direct acid stain because by resurfacing your floor, we can eliminate many eyesores prior to applying an acid stain. We can also tint the material to create a wide range of colors; many more than what we can achieve with a regular acid stain.

Skim Coat Concrete Overlay

If your exterior concrete has an issue, a skim coat is an economical remedy. A skim coat overlay is a thin layer of special cement that is applied to the surface of your existing concrete, opening up new decorative possibilities. A skim coat can fix leveling problems, or if you have extended your patio, blend in new and existing sections of concrete.

Trowel Down Overlay

These are freehand random effects troweled (material is pushed around using a flat steel handle) directly into the concrete resurfacing overlay material while it is still wet. It can be made to imitate stone surfaces while maintaining a relatively flat surface. The decorative concrete videos below show how we go about this process.
