Concrete Overlay for Countertops

This was a concrete countertop project we completed in Fort Worth, TX. The original concrete countertops were in terrible shape and instead of doing a tearout and redo, we ended up resurfacing the countertops with a concrete overlay.

We started with all of the initial preparation including grinding to remove any sealer and other materials, applied the overlay material, sanded, and sealed with two coats of a solvent based polyurethane.
